This page covers the okcseo.media website and the OKC SEO phone line. It says what we collect, why, who else handles it and how long we keep it. If something here doesn't match what you see on the site, tell us and we'll fix one or the other.
Who we are
OKC SEO is run by Chris S Riddle, serving the Oklahoma City area. We meet by phone or at your business.
Phone: (405) 400-1112
Email: chris@okcseo.media
The short version
- Reading the site needs no account. We set no cookies of our own and run no advertising or cross-site tracking. We count visits with cookieless Cloudflare Web Analytics.
- Our two free Google lookup tools send what you type to our own check service so it can look up Google's results. The Local Visibility Check saves nothing. The Local SEO Audit saves the report it makes and publishes it at its own link.
- The Google Review Calculator runs in your browser and sends nothing. The AI Post Generator sends what you type to an AI model run by Cloudflare and saves none of it. The Orphan Page Checker reads the website you enter. It keeps the site's address while the check runs (and, if a check is left unfinished, until the checker is next used after 45 minutes), plus a scrambled daily counter and anonymous totals.
- A free link-check connector for AI assistants (below) is built but switched off for now. When it is on, it reads the website an assistant asks about and keeps only daily totals.
- Calls to (405) 400-1112 are recorded. Recordings are deleted after 90 days.
- We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.
Browsing the site
The pages are static files. Nothing on them stores anything in your browser: no cookies of our own, no local storage.
The "Talk to Chris" button in the corner opens a small panel with a link to our booking page, our phone number and our email address. It has no text box and sends nothing anywhere. If we replace it with a live chat, this page will be updated first.
Our web host, Cloudflare, processes standard request data (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, under Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
Visit counts
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and to see which pages are used and how fast they load. Cloudflare says its Web Analytics does not use any client-side state, such as cookies or localStorage, to collect usage metrics, and that it does not fingerprint individuals via their IP address, User Agent string or any other data for the purpose of displaying analytics. It records page views, the site that referred you, your country, browser, operating system and device type, and page load performance. Cloudflare processes this under its privacy policy.
Local Visibility Check
The Local Visibility Check asks for your business name, the service you want to rank for, your city and your state. When you press the button, those go to our check service, which runs on Cloudflare. It sends the search (your service, city and state) to DataForSEO, a search data company, to get Google's map results. Your business name is not part of that search; our service only uses it to spot you in the results. The answer comes straight back to your screen. The check service doesn't save what you typed or the result.
Free Local SEO Audit
The Local SEO Audit asks for your business name, city and state, and optionally your main service and website. Instead of the name, you can paste your Google Maps link.
- Looking you up. We send your business name and city to DataForSEO to find your Google listing, then run searches for your service from nine points around it and read the public parts of your Google listing: profile details, ratings, review counts and rankings.
- The report is public. The finished report is saved and published at its own link so you can send it to anyone. It contains what you typed, the public Google data about your business, and the businesses Google shows above you with their public ratings and review counts. Anyone with the link can open it. It is marked so search engines don't list it. Reports have no end date, so links keep working. Email us and we will correct or remove one.
- Which option you clicked. If you click one of the three options at the bottom of a report, we note which option was picked on that report. We don't record who clicked it.
- Abuse limits. We use your IP address to count fresh checks (3 an hour, 10 a day). Those counters delete themselves after an hour and a day.
Monthly re-check email
At the end of a report you can leave your email and tick a box to get the report re-checked each month. We save your email address, the exact wording you agreed to, the time, your IP address and your browser's user agent string, so we have a record of your consent. Your email is never shown on the public report. We keep that until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. The monthly email is not being sent yet. To take your address off before then, email chris@okcseo.media.
Google Review Calculator
The Google Review Calculator does all its math in your browser. What you type is not sent to us or anyone else.
AI Social Media Post Generator
The AI Post Generator asks for your type of business and what the post is about, and optionally exact details, a city and a tone. When you press the button, that text goes to our service on Cloudflare, which sends it to an AI model run by Cloudflare Workers AI to write the drafts. The drafts come straight back to your screen.
- Not saved. We don't save or log what you type or the drafts. We keep only daily totals with nothing that identifies you: how many requests there were, how many drafts our checks removed, and how many errors.
- Abuse limits. Cloudflare uses your IP address to count requests per minute (a few a minute). We have turned off Cloudflare's request logging (Workers Logs) for our site, so no per-request log is kept through it.
Orphan Page Checker
The Orphan Page Checker asks for a website address. Our service on Cloudflare then reads that site's public robots.txt, sitemap and pages (up to 300) to find pages nothing links to, and sends the findings to your screen.
- Not saved. We don't keep the pages, their titles or their addresses. While a check runs we hold the site's address and its robots.txt rules so each step follows them. The record is deleted when the check finishes; a check left unfinished is deleted the next time the checker is used after its 45 minutes are up.
- Domain lookup. We look the domain up through Cloudflare's public DNS service to make sure it points to a public address before we fetch anything.
- Abuse limits. To limit each visitor to 5 checks a day and each website (www and non-www together) to 3, we keep a scrambled code made from your IP address (and one made from the website), a secret key and the date, instead of the address itself. It is deleted the next time the checker is used on a later day. Cloudflare also counts requests per minute by IP address, and we have turned off Cloudflare's request logging (Workers Logs) for our site, so no per-request log is kept through it.
- Totals only. We keep anonymous daily totals, such as how many checks ran, how many pages they fetched and how many orphan pages they found in all, with nothing that identifies you or the sites checked.
AI assistant tools
OKC SEO offers a free orphan-page and internal-link check of a public website to AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude, through a connector at okcseo.media/mcp. At the time of this update the connector is switched off and unlisted; this section is here so it is in place first. When an assistant uses the connector, the assistant's servers send us the address of the website to check. We use that address only to answer that one request. We don't store it, log it, or link it to you. To run the check, our server looks the domain up through Cloudflare's public DNS service, then reads that website's robots.txt, its sitemap and up to 30 of its public pages, checking each page address against its robots.txt before requesting it (a page that moves to a new address on the same website is followed there), pausing between requests, reading at most two at a time and making no more than about 45 requests in all. It refuses private or internal network addresses. The results go back to the assistant and are not stored. The website you ask about may see our visits in its own logs, from our server's address and the name OKCSEO-OrphanCheck.
What we keep: daily totals only. For each day we count how many times the tool was used, which kind of assistant app it came from (ChatGPT, Claude or other), whether it worked, a rough count of results (none, one, two or three, or four or five), and how many visits came to our site from links in the answers (those links end in ?ref=agent and the tool's name). We also keep a few housekeeping totals per day: how many requests our limits turned away and how many pages the connector read on other websites against its daily limit. The totals contain no questions, website addresses, IP addresses or browser details, so they can't be traced to a person. We keep the daily totals for as long as the site runs. If the site is ever sold, they pass to the new owner.
How we count visits from those links: when you open a link from an answer on the Orphan Page Checker page, a small script on that page tells our server which tool's link it was, and the daily total for that tool goes up by one. Nothing else is read or stored about you.
Who else handles it: our host, Cloudflare, runs the connector and processes each request to deliver it. To stop abuse, Cloudflare's rate limiter counts requests per IP address for about a minute, and counts checks of the same website for about a minute using a scrambled one-way code of the site, not its address; we don't store either count. We have turned off Cloudflare's request logging (Workers Logs) for our site, so no per-request log of connector calls is kept through it. The assistant app you use (for example ChatGPT or Claude) has its own privacy policy for what you type into it. We don't sell or share anything from these requests, and the tool shows no ads.
Extra details an assistant may attach: an assistant can attach technical hints to each tool call, such as your language setting, an app version hint and a coarse location. The tool does not use or keep any of these (it reads only the app's name, to count ChatGPT, Claude or other).
Your choices: there are no accounts, and nothing we keep can be linked to you, so there is nothing to look up or delete. You can stop using the connector at any time in your assistant's settings. If you run a website and don't want it checked, say so in your robots.txt (the user agent is OKCSEO-OrphanCheck). Questions: support@okcseo.media.
Booking a call
The "Book a free 30-minute call" and "Book a free 30-minute review" buttons open our booking page on Cal.com. You enter your details on Cal.com's page, under Cal.com's privacy policy, and the booking lands on Chris S Riddle's Google Calendar.
Calling us
Calls to (405) 400-1112 run through Twilio, a phone company, and our own call system on Cloudflare.
- What we log. Your phone number, the time of the call, and how it ended (answered, voicemail or hung up).
- Recording. The call rings Chris S Riddle's cell phone. If he answers, the call is recorded from that moment. If he doesn't, you hear a greeting and can leave a voicemail, which is also recorded. Every call starts with a short spoken notice, "Thanks for calling OKC SEO. This call may be recorded," before the recording begins.
- Voicemail. A speech-to-text model run by Cloudflare turns your voicemail into text. A small model, also run by Cloudflare, may add a short guess at what kind of business is calling, for our own sorting. Your number, the time and the text are emailed to Chris S Riddle.
- How long. Recordings are deleted from Twilio after 90 days. The call log and voicemail text are kept for 2 years, then deleted. Alert emails stay in our inbox until we delete them.
Emailing us
Email to chris@okcseo.media is handled by Google Workspace. We keep messages for as long as we're working with you and don't run a set deletion schedule on the mailbox. Ask and we'll delete your messages.
Who else handles your information
Only these companies, and only for the jobs listed:
- Cloudflare: hosts the site, runs our check services, call system and storage, runs the AI model for the post generator, transcribes voicemails and sends our alert emails.
- DataForSEO: runs the Google searches for the two free tools.
- Twilio: carries and records phone calls.
- Google: our email (Google Workspace) and calendar.
- Cal.com: the booking page, if you use it.
The Facebook link in the footer takes you to our Facebook page, which runs under Facebook's own privacy policy. Links to other websites take you to their pages, which have their own privacy policies.
What we don't do
- We don't sell, rent or trade your information.
- We don't run advertising pixels, retargeting or cross-site tracking on this site.
- We don't set cookies of our own.
Seeing or deleting your information
Email chris@okcseo.media or call (405) 400-1112 and tell us what you'd like: a copy of what we hold about you, a correction, or deletion. Give us the email address, phone number or report link it's tied to so we can find it. We'll tell you what we found and what we did.
Children
This site is for business owners. It isn't aimed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us something, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this page
We update this page before we start collecting anything new, such as a new form, analytics tool, chat or video, and change the date at the top when we do.
