Which one is you?
We found more than one business with that name. Pick yours so we score the right one. Nothing is checked until you do.
None of these?
Checking
- Finding your Google listing
- Running nine map searches around your address
- Reading your profile, reviews and ranking

What it checks
| Check | What you see |
|---|---|
| Map pack position across your area | The same search run from nine points spread across your service area, with your position at each one, plus how often you land in the top three and your average position. |
| Google Business Profile | Claimed status, categories, services, description, hours, photos and attributes, each scored against what a complete profile looks like. |
| Reviews against the top 3 | Your count and rating next to the three businesses Google shows above you, with the date we checked. |
| Organic ranking | Where your website sits in the results below the map for your main search. |
Four more checks are on the way: AI answers, whether your site can be read by search engines and AI tools, mobile speed, and your listings elsewhere. Until they ship they are left out of the score rather than guessed at, and the report tells you so. In the meantime, the free Orphan Page Checker shows which pages on your website nothing links to, which makes them hard for search engines to find.
Questions
What do I get?
One page with a Findability Score out of 100, the businesses Google shows above you with their ratings and review counts, a nine-point map of where you do and do not show up, and a list of fixes in priority order. It is free, there is no signup, and the report gets its own link you can send to anyone.
Why check from nine points instead of one?
Google’s map results change block by block. A business can be number one at its own address and invisible two miles away, which is where most of its customers are searching from. We run the same search from nine points spread across your area and show you each result.
What is a Findability Score?
Our own weighted opinion of how easy you are to find in local search, out of 100. It is not an industry standard and it is not endorsed by Google. This version checks four of the eight things we score, so the number is rescaled from the points we could actually measure, and the report says exactly which checks it skipped.
Is my report private?
No, and that is deliberate. The whole report is public at its own link so you can forward it to a partner, a web person or your staff. It is set to noindex so it does not show up in search results. If you want a figure corrected or your business removed, there is an email address on the report.
Do you name my competitors?
Yes, by the name on their Google listing, with their map position, rating and review count, the date we checked and a link so you can verify it. Only the public figures Google shows, no opinions about them.
How often can I run it?
A fresh check once every seven days per business. Inside that window you get the report we already ran, because rankings barely move in a week and every fresh check costs us real data fees. There is a button on the report to re-run it once the window is up.
What is not in it yet?
Whether AI tools like Perplexity and Google’s AI Overview name you, whether your website can be read by search engines and AI, your mobile speed, and your listings on other directories. Those are the next four checks. They are left out of the score entirely rather than guessed at.
Rather have it done for you?
Run the audit first. It costs nothing and it tells you what to fix in what order. If you want it handled, the report ends with three ways to go from there, and you can pick one on the page.
